Hi Folks

I have arranged the following meetings the changes are for two reasons which I hope you will agree these being the Federal Election and the AGM requirements.

Springwood               Wednesday 18th August 2010
                                    Springwood Sports Club
                                    Macquarie Rd Springwood
                                    8.00 - 10.00 P.M.

Lawson                       Saturday 4th September 2010
AGM                             Library Rooms.
                                     Loftus Street ( Opposite Rail Station)
                                     1.00 P.M – 4.00 P.M

Note We have organised the AGM to allow all members to attend from the Blue Mountains LGA further notices will be sent prior to AGM.

The Federal Election is giving the opportunity to seek funding for Rail Projects as demonstrated by the release of projects that are being funded in other States. Therefore we will be seeking funding for the Extra Tracks between Penrith and St Marys. We have experienced delays and reduced speed for some years mainly from late running of suburban services.  This will be relayed to both Candidates in Lindsay and Blue Mnts Electorates seeking election
